Flags are one of the primary tools used by activists and advocates to convey their messages. Flags are among the most powerful pieces of design. They are indeed a simple tool to show great meaning. The way they are designed can evoke a variety of feelings, but most importantly, they create unity. Flags represent ideals, movements, identities, and aspirations. They represent our hopes and dreams. A flag is neither a decoration nor a thing to be honored purely for its aesthetic value. But flags represent the community and the qualities they stand for, they carry symbols that unite us and display the past, present, and future vision all rolled into one.

MANIFESTO
THE AGE OF HUMANS
Glaciers are melting. Sea levels are rising.
Wildlife is disappearing. Oceans are acidifying.
We live in extraordinary times, a radically changed planetary reality.
Humanity is shaking up the world.
SOMETHING IS CHANGING
Something so vast that it is beyond human comprehension.
A paradigm shift, if you will.
We are slowly transitioning into a new era, an era beyond humanity.
It is a significant shift, a transformation into a new world.
Like an underlying, ever-moving apparatus, slowly pushing us forward, pulling along even the oblivious ones.
A HISTORY IN THE MAKING
The days of human exceptionalism are over.
We are becoming aware that the human is not the center of the universe anymore
and that our reality consists of a complex web of interdependencies in which everything is interconnected.
Boundaries are blurring between the familiar binaries of human and nonhuman.
LET US SET OUT INTO NEW WORLDS
Worlds where the apocalypse becomes an opportunity.
Worlds in which we are one with nature.
Worlds of unity between all earthlings.
Worlds that celebrate our multispecies interdependence.
A FUTURE OF COEXISTENCE
A future flourishing on the remains of the Anthropocene, fertilized by the ashes of human hubris, and revived by an assemblage of resilient species.
Within the intricate entanglements of humans, nature, and technology new communities are continuously forming.
Communities where all earthlings can prosper and thrive.
The Future is INTERDEPENDENCE.
The Future is MULTISPECIES.
The Future is CARE.
The Future is COLLABORATION.
The Future is RESILIENCE.
The Future is HOPE.
The Future is RESURGENCE.
The Future is SYMBIOSIS.
The Future is MORE THAN HUMAN.
